Crit Feedback

From the feedback I recieved from the last crit it came in use for me to move forward with my designs and where to go with them and how to develop them .
Some things that were mentioned were that my composition was all the same and that I needed to try different compositions and relate it more to the band name the pull pull, so in forwarded this I looked at using type and experimenting with stretching and distorting the type and layout and using this in a circular geometric composition.
I also needed to work more to a colour palette and look in to this more and maybe using less colour or a few contrasting colours also to go bold and more geometric.
So from this I have taken this all into consideration and tried to work from this to improve my designs.

Music to Image

From going to see Joe Gilmore's work and listening to what he had to say about the industry he mentioned something that I thought that would be quite useful for this brief creating imagery using music files.

I have never done this before so its new to me so I had a go at it anyway but converting a music file to raw and then putting it into Photoshop here are a couple of results.
To get this result I played about with the filters and colour modes to get the right look.

Exisiting Research

Here some photos that were taken of James Page himself, and also a clipping from his myspace site, I looked at these to not only listen to his music off his myspace but to look at his style and the atmosphere he plays in and the sort of music he produces.
